FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to reproductology, andrology and clinical embryology. A method for isolating spermatozoa from aspiration and/or biopsy material from an appendage and/or testicle for use in in vitro fertilization and/or cryopreservation programs involves separating spermatozoa from other cellular elements of the obtained material by at least two cycles of centrifugation with selection for each subsequent cycle of centrifugation of the supernatant obtained as a result of the previous cycle of centrifugation. Moreover, centrifugation is carried out with 200-350 g for 1-2 minutes. The cycles of centrifugation of the supernatant are carried out until there is no visible sediment.
EFFECT: invention provides for the production of a pure fraction of spermatozoa that can be used for fertilization of oocytes by ICSI and/or cryopreservation, from epididymis aspirate or testicular biopsy, including with their critically small amount.
