FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to reproduction, andrology and clinical embryology. A method for isolating spermatozoa from an ejaculate in violation of spermatogenesis for use in in vitro fertilization and/or cryopreservation programs includes separating spermatozoa from other elements of the ejaculate by at least two centrifugation cycles, with the selection for each subsequent centrifugation cycle of the supernatant obtained as a result of the previous centrifugation cycle. Centrifugation is carried out at 200-350 g for 1-2 minutes. Cycles of centrifugation of the supernatant are carried out until there is no visible precipitate.
EFFECT: obtaining a pure fraction of spermatozoa from the sperm of patients with a pronounced impairment of spermatogenesis, which can be used for fertilization of oocytes by intracytoplasmic injection into an oocyte and/or cryopreservation.
