FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely cardiology. The presence of: cerebral atherosclerosis, the history of stroke, atherosclerotic plaques in the carotid basin (ASB), the age of the patient are identified and the values of the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), the presence or absence of percutaneous intervention (PCI) on the infarct-related artery are determined. The values of the above parameters are substituted into the original formula for calculating the probability of an undesirable event occurring during the year. If the value of P is equal to or more than 20%, the forecast is regarded as unfavorable.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict long-term adverse outcomes with high accuracy in patients who have undergone acute MI and have a combination of systolic dysfunction and cerebral atherosclerosis, taking into account comorbidity and additional factors affecting the prognosis.
