FIELD: package and storage.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a sealed and thermally insulated liquid storage tank, comprising auxiliary thermally insulating barrier (1) and auxiliary sealing membrane (4). Auxiliary sealing membrane (4) contains set of corrugated metal sheets (24), sealingly welded to each other, each of which contains at least two perpendicular corrugations (25, 26). Auxiliary thermally insulating barrier (1) contains plurality of articulated insulating panels (2). Each insulating panel (2) with its inner side (10) faces barrier wall and contains metal plates (17, 18), to which corrugated metal sheets (24) are welded. Each insulating panel (2) is connected to adjacent insulating panels (2) by means of connecting elements (22).
EFFECT: ensuring low-intensity uniform load on the membrane.
