FIELD: cyclones.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for dust collection and can be used in units for dry cleaning of dust-loaded process gases and air released at manufacturing enterprises of various branches of industry. The multicyclone dust collector for dry cleaning of dust-loaded gas or air comprises a cylindrical body divided by a lower and an upper pipe grids into a distribution chamber, a purified gas chamber and a dust collector hopper, a purified gas removal branch pipe, a first inlet branch pipe located in the central part of the body, wherein cyclone elements and guiding apparatuses are placed around said branch pipe in concentric rows. The upper pipe grid is made in the form of a truncated cone with an angle of inclination to the horizontal of 25…35 degrees. The lower pipe grid has concentric countercurrent dividers located between the rows of cyclone elements. The dust collector is configured to supply gases through the upper pipe grate by means of the first inlet branch pipe, and the distribution chamber is additionally equipped with a cone divider or the dust collector is configured to simultaneously supply gases from above and below, for the purpose whereof said collector is equipped with a second inlet branch pipe, wherein said branch pipe is adjacent to the distribution chamber through the lower pipe grate and the first inlet branch pipe is adjacent to the distribution chamber through the upper pipe grate.

EFFECT: formation of a uniform gas flow and, therefore, uniform distribution of gases over the cyclone elements and increase in the efficiency of dust collection by 1.5 to 2 times.
