FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: emission system for a cancer treatment system comprises: an emission source configured to create emission at the wavelength of 1.27 mcm, wherein the emission at the wavelength of 1.27 mcm is generated from singlet oxygen; a singlet oxygen generator configured to generate singlet oxygen; and a container configured to be filled with singlet oxygen supplied from the singlet oxygen generator; and a mirror attached to one end of the container in the longitudinal direction of the container and configured to reflect emission at the wavelength of 1.27 mcm. Singlet oxygen is therein generated from a chemical reaction between a solution of an alkaline solution mixed with hydrogen peroxide, and gaseous chlorine. The inner surface of the container reflects emission at the wavelength of 1.27 mcm.
EFFECT: application of the invention allows for effective excitation of oxygen molecules to become singlet oxygen.
