SUBSTANCE: invention is a method consisting of successive stages: 1. The gel under study is applied to a standard paper disk. 2. The disk with the gel is subjected to rapid freezing and lyophilized. 3. A suspension of bacteria is applied to the surface of the Mueller-Hinton agar. 4. A disk with a lyophilized preparation is placed on the finished bacterial lawn. 5. After 18-20 hours of incubation, antimicrobial action is evaluated in accordance with regulatory documents regulating sensitivity/resistance control points for a specific antibiotic and microorganism (Control methodical instructions 4.2.1892-04, EUCAST, CLSI).

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the accuracy of determining the antibacterial activity of gels and the possibility of using in routine practice of a bacteriological laboratory to determine the activity of antimicrobial gels in specific clinical cases.
