SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used to impart prolonged antimicrobial activity to porous osteoplastic materials for use for simultaneous replacement of osteomyelitis defects and creation of depot of antimicrobial preparations in conditions of infectious process in dentistry, traumatology and orthopaedics, oncology, maxillofacial surgery, veterinary science. Disclosed method of impregnating porous materials with antibacterial preparations is characterized by that it involves the following steps: a) preparing a solution of an antibacterial preparation based on purified water at a reduced temperature from +2 to +8 °C; b) evacuating the drug carrier material with pore sizes comparable to the spongy bone porosity of 100-600 mcm, and intended for bone defect filling, in a solution of an antibacterial preparation under conditions of gradually decreasing pressure of 7-10 hPa for 30 minutes from the moment of solution boiling; c) stabilization of solution with carrier material under conditions of low temperature from +2 to +8 °C for 24-48 hours; d) lyophilisation of material obtained at step c); e) sterilization of material obtained at step c).

EFFECT: endowing the porous biological, inorganic biodegradable or non-biodegradable osteoplastic carrier material with prolonged antimicrobial activity.
