SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical technology, namely to a method for reducing excess body weight and a suit for reducing excess body weight. The method for reducing excess body weight consists in using a suit in which vital activities are carried out during wakefulness and/or during physical exercises with maintaining a temperature of 32±2°С for 3-8 hours. The suit for reducing excess body weight includes an elastic base in the form of a jumpsuit with cameras. The chambers filled with liquid are built into the base of the overalls, are interconnected in series by built-in tubes and are closed through a unit located on the overalls, which includes a pump, a radiator with a thermostat, a heater, connected to the control unit. The suit includes an air vent element and an expansion tank.

EFFECT: development of a method when performing physical exercises or during normal life activities during wakefulness, which will allow to reduce excess body weight, reduce the user's body volume, regardless of his physical fitness and health status by using his own fat as an energy material, while activating blood circulation throughout the body, as well as the development of a suit for the implementation of this method, which has a simple design.
