FIELD: laser welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser welding of dissimilar metal alloys with the control of the displacement of the laser beam and can be used in various branches of mechanical engineering for string, corner and brand connection types. Welding is performed outdoors or in an atmosphere of protective gases. During the welding process, the displacement of the laser beam from a given trajectory is controlled by changing the wavelength of the radiation of the plasma torch of the vapor-gas channel. Photodiodes with interference narrow-band optical filters are installed above the interaction point of the laser beam with a metal alloy, which are moved synchronously with the laser beam. According to the deviation as a result of the displacement of the laser beam from the specified trajectory of the value of the wavelength of the plasma torch radiation from the value corresponding to the metal alloys being welded, the quality of the weld is determined and the location of a possible defect is fixed.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of laser welding solutions.
