FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: to realise the technical result, a first message containing a physical cell identifier (PCI) for a cell is transmitted by means of the second node (SN) to the main node (MN), wherein the PCI is associated with the global cell identifier (CGI) not found in the SN. The MN is therein configured to obtain information on the cell in the MN or issue a command to the user equipment (UE) to read system information through the Uu interface in order to obtain information on the cell. A second message containing information on the cell and the PCI of the cell is accepted by means of the SN from the MN.
EFFECT: increase in the bandwidth of the network and improvement of the use of radio resources.
