FIELD: sensor technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of on-board sensor systems. The on-board sensor system contains a first sensor configured to determine the situation around the vehicle, and a second sensor having a higher angular resolution than the first sensor, and additionally contains a data acquisition unit, a range detection unit configured so that, based on the detection result, it is able to determine the observation range for observation by the second sensor and a priority level determination unit configured to, to determine the priority levels of obstacle detection based on the information about the obstacle based on one indicator from the following indicators: the mutual position of each obstacle and vehicle, the mutual movement of each obstacle and vehicle and the type of each obstacle. The data acquisition unit is configured to collect information about an obstacle resulting from detection, while the obstacle information is information about obstacles existing around the vehicle, and the range detection unit is configured to determine the observation range so that obstacles with a high detection priority are preferably included in the observation range compared to obstacles with a low detection priority.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of the results of observation by the sensor system is achieved.
