SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurements. To this end, the object tracking device comprises a data acquisition module configured to receive data from radars mounted on a vehicle, wherein the obtained data include the coordinates of the target, the level of the reflected signal and the radial speed of the target; and a data processing and analysis module configured to cluster the obtained data and track the movement of the object by assigning a new position to the object, wherein each target in the obtained data is considered to be a point in space according to its coordinates, wherein the clustering comprises combining into clusters of points, which are from each other within the combination distance and have close radial speed, wherein the distance of combining this point with other points depends on the level of the reflected signal of that point.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining and tracking objects and efficiency of the driver assistance system.
