FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used in the aviation and power industry in the manufacture of rotor disks of gas turbine engines and power plants. The disk-ring is obtained by distributing and unfolding a tubular cylindrical billet. Distribution and unfolding are carried out by multi-stage external flanging of the blank wall in parts of its length. External flanging can be carried out with a punch with a cycloidal working surface in the temperature range of hot stamping.
EFFECT: as a result, a given level of physical and mechanical properties of disks made of various deformable steels and alloys is provided.
