SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to medicine and is a method for non-contact stimulation of the transcriptional activity of the CDKN1B gene. To implement the present invention, radiation of prostate tumor cells is carried out on a Novalis TX linear accelerator in a discrete pulse mode, 3 pulses of 6.4 Gy, the interval between pulses is 120 seconds, and the expression level of the CDKN1B, CDK2 and CDK1 genes is evaluated.

EFFECT: invention allows for the regulation of the cell cycle of prostate tumor cells by activating a cyclin-dependent kinase 2 inhibitor with preserved transcriptional activity of cyclin-dependent kinase 1.
