FIELD: medicine; molecular biology; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the IDH1 and IDH2 genes status in the patients diagnosed with glial brain tumor. Disclosed test system contains reagents for PCR amplification of DNA—a mixture for PCR, DNA polymerase Thermus aquaticus, positive and negative control samples, high-specific primers for analyzing the status of IDH1 and IDH2 genes by HRM and Sanger sequencing. Test system has high sensitivity and specificity, its use is possible with surgical biopsy material and paraffin blocks (FFPE-blocks); results are recorded once at the end of the study, which takes no more than 10 hours.
EFFECT: test system enables to study IDH 1/2 genes for the presence of mutations, which makes it possible to personify the therapeutic approach in glial brain tumors.
