The localization of the macroaneurysm and the area of ​​edema of the retinal neuroepithelium around the microaneurysm are determined. Laser coagulation of the pigment epithelium is performed perifocal to the macroaneurysm in the threshold mode and edema in the macular region is treated. Laser treatment of edema around the macroaneurysm in the threshold mode is carried out to the border of the macula and along the wall of the macroaneurysm in the coagulation mode with the power selected in the CW-pulse mode with an exposure of 0.1 sec, the spot diameter is 100 mcm, perifocal to the macroaneurysm until the appearance of coagulum of the I degree along L'Esperence. EFFECT: method allows to reduce extravasation from macroaneurysm wall without development of retinal pigment epithelium atrophy, reduce risk of macroaneurysm wall rupture and prevent thrombus formation in macroaneurysm cavity, which in turn allows to effectively treat macroaneurysm complicated by retinal neuroepithelium edema.
