FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling the movement of a vehicle for parking is proposed. A vehicle having an autonomous driving function is controlled to perform autonomous driving. It is detected whether an object is present in the environment of the vehicle using the object detecting unit. When transitioning from the state of no object detection to the object detection state, a predetermined pattern corresponding to the detection range of the object detection unit is changed to a pattern other than the pattern that was displayed up to this point. Moreover, a predetermined pattern is displayed at a specific position on the road surface towards the detection range in order to be visible. A device for controlling the movement of a vehicle is also proposed.
EFFECT: improved safety is achieved.
