The gesture determination area (Ga1) is the area in which the gesture (G4b) for remote control of the vehicle (V) is received. The method further includes detecting a gesture (G4b) from the gesture determination area (Ga1), and determining whether the detected gesture (G4b) is a command gesture (G4) that has been set in advance. If the gesture (G4b) is the command gesture (G4), the vehicle (V) is controlled to perform autonomous driving control. At the same time, the first gesture definition area is set at a predetermined position before the start of the autonomous movement control, and the new gesture determination area is set in accordance with the input position after the start of the autonomous movement control.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of inputting a gesture in an arbitrary position on the touch panel, due to which the vehicle can perform a given function regardless of the position of inputting the gesture into the remote control device.
