FIELD: vehicle remote control.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and device for remote control of a vehicle. The expansion unit is located outside the vehicle. The vehicle has the function of autonomous traffic control. The method comprises: detecting the relative position of the expansion unit with respect to the vehicle; establishing a touch command operation with the remote operation device; detecting a touch operation performed by an operator on the touch panel of the remote operation device; determining whether the detected operation is a touch command operation; vehicle control for the execution of autonomous traffic control. It is achieved that the operator is prompted to perform the operation by the remote operation device in the transfer state of the expansion unit.
