SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling parking and a parking control device. Method of parking control for implementation of vehicle parking on the basis of working command includes reception of working command from operator, which is outside vehicle, detection of obstacle existing around vehicle. When an obstacle is detected, an operator is notified of the existence of the obstacle and the first input is requested to confirm the existence of the obstacle or the second input to deny the existence of the obstacle and when first input is received, calculation of first parking route provided that obstacle exists, and parking of vehicle in accordance with control instruction for movement along first parking route. Parking control device comprises control device configured to execute control instruction for vehicle parking in accordance with working command.
EFFECT: timely vehicle parking is achieved when an obstacle is detected, provided that detection is erroneous.
