SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The invention is a method of forming a collection and long-term depositing of grapes in vitro, relates to agriculture, in particular to viticulture, and can be used for long-term storage of valuable and rare grape varieties in an in vitro collection. The method includes introducing apical meristems into the culture and forming a collection on their basis, with preliminary cultivation on Murashige-Skuga solid nutrient medium, planting for storage. In this case, apical meristems 0.1÷0.2 mm in size, isolated from test-tube plants previously introduced into culture, are kept on a nutrient medium with the addition of the growth regulator Melafen at a dilution of 10-5÷10-11, and the resulting shoots are kept on a nutrient medium Murashige-Skuga, containing Cefotaxime at a concentration of 50÷450 mg/l, and micro-cuttings of healed plants isolated from the upper parts of the shoots are planted for storage.

EFFECT: method provides non-stop storage of microplants of grapes under standard cultivation conditions for up to 10÷12 months while maintaining the genetic stability of the samples, healing of grape plants from viral and phytoplasmic infection and, at the same time, increasing the economic efficiency of storing the grape gene pool in vitro.
