FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely experimental medicine. A projectile of the “copper-plated Borner steel ball” type or a dart projectile for a rifle with a diameter of 0.45 cm is used, when modeling a penetrating wound with an intraocular foreign body (IOFB), a shot is fired from a distance of 25 cm to the eye. At the same time, the flight speed of the wounding projectile is 68.5-79.3 m/s, and the specific kinetic energy of the wounding projectile is 4.63-6.69 J/cm2. When modeling a through wound, a shot is fired from a distance of 25 cm to the eye, while the flight speed of the wounding projectile is 87-150 m/s, and the specific kinetic energy of the wounding projectile is 8.06-23.94 J/cm2. When modeling a penetrating wound without an IOFB, a shot is fired from a distance of 25 cm to the eye, while the flight speed of the wounding projectile is 20-25 m/s, and the specific kinetic energy of the wounding projectile is 0.94-1.25 J/cm2.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain the final result of an open globe injury, as well as to select a wounding projectile during modeling, while using calculations, the calculated data of the experimental model are reproducible in 100% of cases and can serve as modeling methods in the experiment.
