FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building. A rotary external combustion engine contains a stator (1) installed in it with the formation of cold (2) and hot (3) working chambers a rotor (4). The cold chamber (2) is provided with inlet openings (5) communicating with the inlet pipelines, as well as outlet openings (6) communicating with the inlet openings (7) of the hot chamber (3) by means of bypass pipelines (8). The hot chamber (3) is provided with outlet openings (9) communicated with the outlet pipes (10). The outlet (10) and bypass (8) lines are located in the recuperative heat exchanger (11). The engine contains a spool cylindrical body (12) connected to the rotor working shafts (4) with a gas distribution shaft (15), in which through radial bypass (13) and outlet (14) openings are made with the possibility of communication of the bypass pipelines (8) with the inlet channels of the hot chamber (3) and its communication with outlet pipelines (10) through outlet channels. The spool valve (12) is installed with the ability to communicate with the chambers (2, 3) and pipelines. Self-acting valves (18) are installed in front of the entrance to the hot chamber (3).
EFFECT: reduction of charge losses during the implementation of gas distribution processes.
