FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a modified oligonucleotide, including an oligonucleotide part and a polyalkoxy part, applied for therapeutic purposes. The method includes: a) activation of the carboxyl group of a first interacting substance, including a polyalkoxy part and a carboxyl group, by a condensation reagent in a water-miscible organic solvent; and b) interaction of the activated carboxyl group of the first interacting substance with the amino group of a second interacting substance, producing a modified oligonucleotide. The second interacting substance constitutes an amino-modified oligonucleotide including an oligonucleotide part and an amino modification containing an amino group, preliminarily dissolved in water or a mixture of a water-miscible organic solvent and water.
EFFECT: method allows for production of a modified oligonucleotide, including an oligonucleotide part and a polyalkoxy part, with a higher yield.
