FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely, to a method for increasing the antibacterial activity of silver nanoparticles against St. aureus. The method for increasing the antibacterial activity of silver nanoparticles against St. aureus consists in the fact that an equal volume of 0.2 ml of a solution of dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) with a content of the active substance of 1,000 mg /ml is introduced into 0.2 ml of a solution of the argovit agent with a content of the active substance of 13 to 15 mg/ml.
EFFECT: above method allows for an increase in the bactericidal activity of silver nanoparticles against St. aureus.
