FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of controlling Staphylococcus aureus biofilms with a preparation based on silver nanoparticles and Biosib-Acid, consisting in the fact that to 0.2 ml of a solution of the preparation argovit with an active substance content of 13 mg/ml is added an equal volume of 0.2 ml of Biosib-Acid, 0.2 ml of meat-infusion broth and 0.2 ml of 1.5⋅106 CFU/ml of reference strain Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25953 or isolate Staphylococcus aureus, isolated from cattle with clinical manifestation of infectious disease, followed by incubation for 24 hours at t=37.5±0.5 °C, result of biofilm control is determined by change of intensity of biofilm formation by measuring optical density on spectrophotometer at wave length 492 nm.

EFFECT: invention provides a wider range of methods for reducing the biofilm formation process of Staphylococcus aureus.
