FIELD: technological processes; glass.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing bioactive glass, which is used in medicine, particularly in traumatology, orthopedics, regenerative medicine, dentistry and maxillofacial surgery for restoring functional integrity of bone tissue. Disclosed is a method of producing bioglass doped with zirconium dioxide using organic derivatives of silicon, phosphorus and zirconium. Initial substances used are sodium, calcium and zirconium oleates, tributyl phosphate and tetraethylorthosilicate, mixture of which is first held at temperature of 150–200 °C for distillation of solvents, and then subjected to pyrolysis at 1,300 °C for 0.5 hour to obtain the end product.
EFFECT: simplification of the method of producing bioglass doped with zirconium oxide by reducing the time of the process and reducing power consumption as a result of lowering the pyrolysis temperature.
