SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tobacco industry, namely to a device for the production of a component of an aerosol generating product. The device for the production of the component of the aerosol generating product contains a buffer installation for a material sheet. The buffer installation contains fixed sheet guides and movable sheet guides made with the possibility of reciprocating movement in the direction to fixed sheet guides and from fixed sheet guides. The installation contains an executive element for moving movable sheet guides. Fixed and movable sheet guides together define a zigzag trajectory of the sheet, having a changeable length to change the total length of the material sheet in the buffer installation. The installation contains sheet supports arranged in such a way that movable sheet guides move in the direction of fixed sheet guides. At least one of movable sheet guides is located between two different supports. The buffer installation contains an air system connected to supports. Each of supports forms an outer surface. At least one of outer surfaces has the first part, in which the air system performs a retracting action to attract the sheet to the outer surface, and the second part, in which the air system performs a blowing action to push the sheet away from the outer surface.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the manufacture of the aerosol generating product due to reducing the risk of rupture of the material sheet.
