FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles and pertains to a drive unit for the motor built into a wheel. The motor built into a wheel has a rotor with an axis of rotation, a peripheral outer surface, and a transverse surface on the side facing the road. The drive unit is equipped with a unit configured to support two tyres, and is comprised of a circular first part (210) and a circular second part (250). Each part is equipped with a rim section for supporting the corresponding tyre of said two tyres. The first part and the second part are configured to be installed on the transverse surface of the rotor on the side facing the road, and are removable from the rotor from said transverse surface on the side facing the road, wherein the second part is removable from the rotor independently of said first part.
EFFECT: possibility of easier attachment and removal of one tyre from the structure of a rim with a double tyre.
