FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of diagnostics of technical condition of elements of mechanical transmissions in operation. Substance of the method consists in control of value and rate of increase of diagnostic temperature of control points for diagnostics during tests. By creating a three-dimensional model of the transmission element, applying temperature loads to it in the friction zone and from adjacent fuel assemblies, partitioning the three-dimensional model into a finite element mesh is used to calculate the value of the diagnostic temperature in the zone to be diagnosed. Value of the coefficient of proportionality of the finite element model is then calculated by dividing the diagnostic temperature by the temperature in the friction zone. During operation, the diagnostic temperature is continuously or periodically monitored; this value is divided by the value of the coefficient of proportionality of the finite element model and the temperature value in the friction zone during operation is obtained and compared with the maximum allowable temperature.
EFFECT: improvement of reliability and reduction of labour intensity of technical diagnostics.
