FIELD: sensors.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes an electrochemical sensor (110) and a sensor system (111) for electrochemical identification of no less than one analyte in a biological fluid sample, and a method for manufacture of the electrochemical sensor (110). The electrochemical sensor (110) is comprised of a substrate (114) with a proximal area (116) and a distal area (118), wherein the proximal area (116) comprises no less than one contact element (120) comprising at least one electrical contact part configured to come into electrical contact with a corresponding electrical contact part of the measuring apparatus (121), and/or configured to provide wireless communication with the measuring apparatus (121). The electrochemical sensor additionally includes no less than one working electrode (122) located in the distal area (118) of the substrate and no less than one counter electrode (124). The working electrode (118) is comprised of a group of enzyme zones (140), wherein each of said zones includes at least one enzyme intended to react with an analyte and including glucose oxidase and/or glucose dehydrogenase. The working electrode (122) also comprises no less than one conductive path (132) and each of the enzyme zones (140) is partially located on the conductive path (132). The sensor system (111) comprises no less than one electrochemical sensor (110), a measuring apparatus (121) and no less than one contact element (120) configured to provide interaction between the electrochemical sensor (110) and the measuring apparatus (121).
EFFECT: on the one hand, the electrochemical sensor (110) has a mechanically flexible design and, on the other hand, manufacturing costs thereof can be reduced in comparison with known methods of manufacture, particularly due to increased positioning tolerance.
