FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to functional diagnostics, and can be used in breast cancer screening. To do this, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with intravenous contrast is performed. At the same time, pre-contrast tomography is first performed with suppression of the signal from adipose tissue to obtain images of the breast. Then, within 5-10 seconds, a contrast agent is injected using an automatic injector and post-contrast tomography is performed, first with images with suppression of the signal from adipose tissue, and then without suppression of the signal from adipose tissue. The time of the pre-contrast manipulation is set within 2.5-3 minutes, and the post-contrast manipulation is carried out 10-15 seconds faster. For MRI, a high-field magnetic resonance tomograph with a magnetic field strength of 1.5-3 T is used.
EFFECT: method provides effective detection of early breast cancer while reducing the time of the study and reducing the radiation load on the patient.
