FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to X-ray diagnostics, and can be used for screening of early breast cancer. Pre-contrast tomography with suppression of a signal from adipose tissue is performed to obtain T1 images of the mammary gland. Contrast agent is introduced. Post-contrast tomography is performed first with obtaining T1 images with suppression of signal from adipose tissue, and then with obtaining T2 images without suppression of signal from adipose tissue. Presence or absence of the diagnostic feature on the T2 images of the mammary gland is determined without suppressing the signal from the adipose tissue in the form of a low-intensity rim around the neoplasm. Detection of such a diagnostic feature is a sign of a malignant tumour, and the absence of such a feature is a sign of a benign tumour.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing diagnostic accuracy.
