FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repair, particularly, to reconditioning of cylindrical friction surfaces of parts, including crankshaft journals worn out beyond the last repair size. Chamfers are made on inner surfaces of semi-ring pads on both sides. Crankshaft worn-out journals are ground to diameter equal to total inner diameter of produced semi-ring pads depending on initial radius of crankshaft fillets: for the entire width of the crankshaft journals, if the radius of the fillets is equal to the radius of the transition of the peripheral surface of the grinding wheel to its end surface, or by incomplete width of crankshaft journals, if radius of fillets is greater than radius of transition of peripheral and end surfaces of grinding wheel, note here that artificial roughness is created on inner surfaces of semi-ring pads and crankshaft journals prior to gluing said pads by cutting thread.
EFFECT: invention provides uniform adhesion of inner surfaces of semi-ring pads to crankshaft journals due to creation of artificial roughness on journals of the shaft and on inner surfaces of pads for stronger adhesive connection.
