FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of stationary offshore drilling platforms installed on shallow water with large depth of muddy sediments bottom of continental shelf. Unit contains an underwater grillage made in the form of a two-tier truss formed by vertical piles and horizontal links, as well as support columns connected to the grillage. Horizontal links of the truss are made in the form of floating containers, at that links of the lower tier of the truss are made of square-section pipes. Links located along the perimeter of the lower tier of the truss are divided by watertight partitions into compartments equipped with ballasting facilities. Installation method of the support block at the bottom of the continental shelf comprises towing, ballasting of floating containers and fixing the support unit at the bottom of the water area. Support unit is towed to the well drilling zone in the design position, the floating containers compartments are ballasted until the lower tier of the grillage is immersed by 0.5 of its height into the muddy part of the bottom of the water area, trim and heel are leveled, and fastening piles are inserted into the frame of the grillage with their subsequent deepening into the solid part of the bottom and fixation in the frames. Ballasting of compartments of floating containers and deepening of anchoring piles can be performed in pairs in diagonal planes relative to the center of the lower tier of the grillage.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify installation of platform and to increase reliability of its fixation on shallow water with large depth of muddy sediments even or inclined bottom of continental shelf.
