FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to correction of patient movement for cone-beam computed tomography. Disclosed is a device containing a machine-readable medium, which is used to implement a method comprising: obtaining a set of X-ray projections of the patient under study using an X-ray imaging device comprising an X-ray source and an X-ray detector; determining an initial estimate of the geometry of the projections, describing the spatial positions and orientation of the X-ray source and detector during X-ray projection imaging; calculation of intermediate reconstruction of CBCT using images of X-ray projections and initial estimation of geometry of projections; determination of correcting geometric transformations depending on projection images for initial estimation of projection geometry based on X-ray projection images, initial estimate of the geometry of projections and intermediate reconstruction of CBCT and calculation of final reconstruction of CBCT using images of X-ray projections and corrected estimation of projection geometry in accordance with said certain correcting geometric transformations, wherein the correcting geometric transformations for the initial estimate of the geometry of the projections are determined in a rotating coordinate system which depends on the images of the projections, in accordance with the spatial positions and orientations of the X-ray source and detector during X-ray projection imaging.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides correction of patient movement for cone-beam computed tomography.
