FIELD: medical technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to teaching aids in medicine, in particular in endovascular surgery. The medical simulator contains a transparent main unit connected by tubes to form a closed system of continuous fluid circulation, a pump immersed in a reservoir with liquid, a filter for filtering a dye solution injected into the system and a tube simulating a blood vessel used to perform catheterization by the Seldinger method. The tube imitating a blood vessel is replaceable and made of elastic material. The material of the main unit is a hardened injection-molded epoxy resin. The main unit contains a system of channels simulating a vascular network and including an entrance represented by at least one large channel, a part simulating arteries represented by branches of a large channel divided into smaller channels, models of neovascular tumor networks including small tubules and communicating with branches of a large channel through afferent vessel simulators, and an outlet collecting channels of the vascular network. The liquid has a refractive index equal to the refractive index of the main unit material.

EFFECT: ensuring the development of embolization, angiography, stenting and balloon angioplasty in the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system.
