FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to internal diseases, clinical laboratory diagnostics and hepatology. The level of aspartate aminotransferase, total bilirubin and albumin is determined in patient's blood serum. The activated partial thromboplastin time is evaluated. Next , the calculation of the liver cirrhosis class is carried out according to the formula: LCC=1.4328+0.0014*AST+0.00008*TB-0.0771*ALB+0.0721*aPTT, where LCC is the prognosed liver cirrhosis class, 1.4328 is a constant calculated by multiple regression, 0.0014, 0.00008, 0.0771 and 0.0721 are coefficients of indicators calculated by multiple regression, AST is aspartate aminotransferase, iU/l, TB is the level of total bilirubin, mmol/l, ALB – albumin level, g/l, aPPT – activated partial thromboplastin time, sec; with LCC value in the range from 0.5 to 1.4, class A of liver cirrhosis is diagnosed, LCC value in the range from 1.5 to 2.4 corresponds to class B of liver cirrhosis, LCC value in the range from 2.5 to 3.4 corresponds to class C of liver cirrhosis.

EFFECT: method allows noninvasively ensuring availability and simplicity of laboratory diagnostics of liver cirrhosis class with high sensitivity and specificity.
