SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing hot rolled metal (1) and a device for its implementation. The method involves rolling rolled products (1) in at least one cage (2) of the rolling mill and then cooling in the cooling section (5) located behind the specified at least one cage (2) of the rolling mill, while the sound generated by the system (8) of sound oscillators is introduced into the rolling mill (1) using the coupling device (10) so that at least in the rolling area (1) a standing sound wave is formed, while the coupling device (10) is the working roll (3) of the last cage (2) of the rolling mill in front of the cooling section (5) or the roller (11) supplied to the rolled metal (1), located between the last cage (2) of the rolling mill and the cooling section (5).
EFFECT: creating the possibility of additional influence on the grain structure of rolled products.
