FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, namely to means of protecting cultivated plants from infectious diseases caused by anamorphic and polyphilic ascomycetes, such as Fusarium Martii and Pyricularia oryzae, as well as biotrophic basidiomycetes (Ustilago hudor) and pathogenic oomycetes (Phytophthora infestans). Proposed agent for protection of cultivated plants from infectious diseases includes an extract of herbal raw material of Reynoutria japonica Houtt. Distinctive feature of the agent is that the herbal raw material used is crushed leaves of R. japonica to Fusarium Martii, Pyricularia oryzae, Ustilago hudor and Phytophthora infestans pathogens control, and for treating plants, 2–4 % dealcoholized aqueous solution of the extract is used.
EFFECT: invention widens the range of preparations of natural origin.
