FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the microclonal propagation of honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea L.) in vitro. The proposed method for microclonal propagation of honeysuckle in vitro involves cultivating microclones on a nutrient medium containing macro- and microelements according to the Murashige-Skoog recipe, 20 g/l of sucrose, 6 g/l of agar-agar and 0.5 mg/l of BAP. A distinctive feature of the method is that a mixture of dealcoholized extracts of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) and Reynoutria japonica (1:1) in an amount of 1–8 ml/l is additionally introduced into the nutrient medium.
EFFECT: proposed invention will increase the propagation rate of honeysuckle.
