FIELD: tire production.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to a tire-assembling device and a method for connecting or cutting tire components. The tire-assembling device contains a swinging element made with the possibility of moving in a swing plane by means of swinging motion along a swing line, a straight-line guide passing parallel to the swing line, and a carriage that is made with the possibility of straight-line movement along the specified straight-line guide, wherein the swinging element contains a convex edge that defines a smaller arc of the circle, and passes to the center of rotation, wherein the swinging element is supported by the carriage in the center of rotation and is made with the possibility of angular movement relatively to the specified carriage around the axis of rotation passing through the specified center of rotation.
EFFECT: increase in the service life is achieved due to reduction in friction, torsion and/or tension between different components of the device.
