SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to radiation-resistant polymer materials used in space engineering. Radiation-resistant polypropylene is PPH030GP polypropylene modified with ZrO2 nanoparticles as filler. Modification is carried out with zirconium dioxide nanoparticles in amount of one weight percent.
EFFECT: high resistance to radiation of polymer nanocomposites, characterized by simple design and does not require complex and expensive equipment.
