FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to plastic surgery. A longitudinal dissection of the nasal septum is performed in the upper section from the level of the nasal bones to the caudal part of the nasal septum to a depth corresponding to the level of lowering of the cartilaginous dorsum of the nose. Next, the separation of the triangular cartilages of the nose from the nasal septum, with the stumps of the septal cartilage, is performed by dissecting the nasal septum from the caudal part of the nasal septum to the level of the underlying triangular cartilage of the nose with the nasal bones. Then each triangular cartilage with the fused part of the septal cartilage is tucked inward, forming a cartilaginous duplication, and sutured to the already lowered nasal septum from its side.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the lumen of the internal nasal valve by increasing the volume of air flow in this area, without the use of additional materials.
