FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to collection of biogas from solid municipal waste landfills. Proposed method consists in installation of prefabricated drains-drains in vertical direction directly into waste landfill. Then, said drains are connected through a pipe system arranged above the wastes and placed on the landfill surface of the waste. Insulating layer is created on surface of landfill of wastes. Installing the drains is performed with a given pitch on the landfill polygon and to a different depth, wherein smaller number of drains with selected pitch is set with implementation of preliminary leader vibration drilling of waste landfill at depth of 10 to 20 m, which is greater than depth of installation of other drains, and other drains are installed by way of pushing into body of landfill at depth of 8 to 18 m.
EFFECT: ensuring the maximum possible level of collection of polygon gas in the presence of mixed fractions of solid municipal wastes in the body of the landfill.
