FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental protection, and in particular to a method for removing biogas from the body of a municipal solid waste landfill, isolated from the environment. The method for degassing a solid municipal waste (SMW) landfill by means of ejection consists in the fact that drainage pipes are installed in the body of the landfill isolated from the environment by a protective screen and one of their ends is connected to the main pipe. The main pipe is installed on the landfill surface, and its air inlet and outlet ends are located in different vertically horizontal planes, and with the possibility of communicating its upper and lower ends with the atmosphere to create natural air draft in the main pipe. Ejectors are installed in the zones of connection to the main pipe of drainage pipes, the active channels of which are connected to the main pipe with the possibility of entering them due to the natural draft of atmospheric air from the lower end of the main pipe or due to forced ventilation. The passive channels of the ejectors are placed in drainage pipes with the possibility of being sucked in and flowing through them from the body of the SMW landfill of biogases, which are then entrained into the main pipe by air flows passing through the active channels of the ejectors. After mixing air and biogases in the mixing chambers of the ejectors, the resulting air-gas mixture exits the upper vertically installed end of the main pipe into the atmosphere.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability and efficiency of biogas degassing systems of filled, mothballed landfills with a simplified design of devices.
