SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a measurement method, comprising: collecting data using image sensors (Cji), for each article during its movement at least three radiographic images of the area to be inspected, wherein the radiographic images are obtained from at least three radiographic projections of the area to be inspected, and the direction (Dji) of the projection is different from each other; providing the computer system with an a priori geometric model of the area to be checked for a batch of articles; determination, using a computer system, taking into account a constant attenuation coefficient, based on said prior geometrical model and at least three radiographic images of the inspected area, a digital geometric model of the inspected area; for each article from the batch, determining, from the digital geometrical model of the inspected area, at least one value of the linear size of the inspected area.
EFFECT: providing accurate control of dimensions of industrial products moving progressively at high speed.
