FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: digital radiographic scanning is performed to obtain the radiographic image of the inspected object; at least one boundary of the computed tomographic scanning (CT scanning) zone is determined based on the radiographic image; exposure data of the inspected liquid-containing object are obtained using CT scanning for two radiation energy levels within the determined CT scanning boundary; CT reconstruction is performed based on the exposure data to obtain a CT image which contains physical characteristics of the inspected liquid-containing object; physical characteristics of the inspected liquid-containing object are identified based on the CT image; and the danger of the inspected liquid-containing object is determined based on the obtained physical characteristics in the corresponding region.
EFFECT: possibility of high-speed inspection and possibility of obtaining quantitative information on liquid-containing objects without breaking the outer packaging.
