FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Crosslinking is carried out simultaneously on two tables for both patients by one surgeon. In this case, each patient in turn after the installation of the anesthetic solution is subjected to mechanical deepithelization of the cornea with a diameter of 8 mm. The stroma is impregnated with the Dextralink solution by installations 1 time in 2-4 minutes for 30 minutes. Then the cornea is irradiated with an ultraviolet lamp using the following parameters of duration and flux density, respectively - 10 minutes and 9 mW/cm2 or 5 minutes and 18 mW/cm2. In the process of irradiation, installations of the Dextralink solution are carried out, the operation is completed with the application of soft contact lenses.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the duration of the corneal collagen cross-linking procedure by almost half without loss of its quality, which ensures the safety of the operation, prevents complications, positively affects the patient's comfort and reduces the likelihood of a surgeon's error, increases the efficiency of personnel and equipment.
